New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft and illegal possession of stolen property.
Wanted is Mackenzie "Maple" Ryder (pictured), White male, DOB 02/29/2000, height 5' 10", and weight 125 pounds. Mackenzie "Maple" Ryder is considered trans-gendered.
According to investigators, during October 0f 2025 the victim allowed Mackenzie "Maple" Ryder to stay at her residence in the 1800 block of South Rendon Street. The victim later discovered multiple items missing from her residence. The investigation confirmed Mackenzie "Maple" Ryder sold the stolen items to a business in Baton Rouge, LA on October 25, 2025. He is also wanted in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles for additional thefts.
