The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred on December 2, 2025, in the 14700 block of Chef Menteur Highway that left two subjects deceased.

At about 7:52 p.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to a call for service at the location. Upon arrival officers discovered two male victims at the location, both of which were found to have sustained gunshot wounds. Both victims were declared deceased on scene.

Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as to determine motive.

The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victims and official cause of death upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
