The NOPD has arrested Dean Kelly, DOB: 3-5-1971, on charges of attempted third degree rape and sexual battery.
Kelly was arrested by NOPD Special Victims Division officers today and will be booked accordingly into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
He was charged in connection with an incident that reportedly occurred in October of 2023.
The investigation into this incident is active and ongoing.
