NOPD Seeking Suspect in Fourth District Home Invasion Incident

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Takeeina Isom (pictured, female, DOB: 08-08-1989) in the investigation of a home invasion incident on December 15, 220 in the 2900 block of Copernicus Street.

The victim reported that at about 4:35 a.m., her ex-girlfriend – later identified as Isom – entered the victim’s residence and committed a battery upon her while several children were inside the residence. It was also learned Isom violated an active protection order the victim had in place against her.

When located, Isom will be arrested for one count each of home invasion, battery of a dating partner, battery of a dating partner (strangulation), violation of a protective order. In addition, she will be charged with six counts of battery of a dating partner-child endangerment.
