The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two suspects in the investigation of a simple robbery that occurred on December 6, 2019.

At about 6:55 a.m., the pictured female subject (left) allegedly approached the victim in the 600 block of Dauphine Street asking for directions. The female subject then attempted to take the victim’s wallet from his rear pocket. The victim pushed the suspect away, at which time the male subject (right) approached and pinned the victim near the truck so the female subject could take the victim’s wallet. The female subject took the victim’s wallet, entered the pictured Chevrolet pickup truck with the male subject and the two fled on Dauphine Street.

The female subject was described as a white female, standing about 5’8” with long black hair, about 40 years of age and clad in black and white tights. The male subject was described as a brown-skinned black male with a medium build and bald head, clad in a dark green jacket, plaid shirt and jeans. 

The perpetrators were traveling in the pictured silver Chevrolet pickup truck with damage to the front passenger side bumper, and damage to the front driver’s side, driven by the female subject.
