Suspect Wanted for Auto Theft in Fourth District

Suspect Wanted for Auto Theft in Fourth District

NOPD officers are searching for a suspect who is wanted in connection with an auto theft that occurred in the Fourth District.

The victim reportedly parked and secured her vehicle in the 800 block of Verret Street. On December 4, 2019 around 12:47 p.m., the victim observed an unknown black male subject enter and steal her white 2011 Nissan Rogue from the location.

The perpetrator is believed to be in his early 20's, 5’6” – 5’10” tall, slim build with light to medium complexion. The subject was last seen wearing gray jogging pants and a red hooded sweatshirt.

During the course of the investigation, the victim’s vehicle was located on December 9, 2019 in the 1500 block of Bodenger Boulevard. However, the perpetrator of this incident is still at large.
