NOPD Seeking Suspect in Sixth District Theft

The NOPD is requesting assistance in locating and identifying a suspect in the investigation of a theft that occurred on December 10, 2019.

At about 2:57 p.m., the above pictured subject entered the AT&T store located in the 2100 block of South Claiborne Avenue and stole the victim’s Apple Watch, valued at approximately $549.00, from its charger on the store counter.  The subject exited the store briefly then returned and damaged a security device while attempting to steal a display phone.

The suspect is identified as a black male with a dark complexion and thin build, attired in a black, white, yellow and red long-sleeved shirt with EST printed on both sleeves, black sweat pants with white writing down the legs and black tennis shoes with white soles.
