NOPD Investigating Homicide in the Sixth District

The NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred today (December 13, 2019) in the 2900 block of Toledano Street.

At about 12:21 a.m., a NOPD Sixth District officer was patrolling when he heard gunshots in the area of Toledano Street and Claiborne Avenue.  When the officer canvassed the area he found two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.  One victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  Another victim was transported to the hospital for treatment. 

No further information is available at this time.  The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will determine official cause of death and release the victim’s name, upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.
