NOPD Arrests Three Juvenile Suspects in Second District Simple Robberies

The NOPD has arrested three juvenile male suspects in the investigation of two simple robberies that occurred in the Second District.

At approximately 8:25 p.m. on December 24, 2019, a simple robbery occurred in the 7700 block of Nelson Street. The victim purse was taken from her possession by a young male subject who fled the scene with an additional young male subject.

At approximately 11:18 a.m. on December 25, 2019, another simple robbery occurred in the 7700 block of Belfast Street. The victim's purse was forcefully taken from her possession by a young male subject who fled the scene with two additional young male subjects.

Second District officers and detectives immediately began to investigate the incidents. On Thursday, December 26, 2019 at approximately 1:30 p.m., detectives and officers were able to arrest three juveniles who were positively identified as the perpetrators of the robberies. The juveniles are ages 10, 11 and 12 years old. The juveniles were each booked accordingly into the Juvenile Justice Center.
