Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery on Franklin Avenue

Suspects Sought in Armed Robbery on Franklin Avenue

The NOPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two suspects believed to be responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on December 11, 2018 in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue.

At about 5:04 p.m., the two pictured perpetrators were seen entering a Boost Mobile and committing an armed robbery. The subjects fled the location north on Franklin Avenue and then east on North Derbigny Street in possession of cellphones and cash.

One of the perpetrators is described as a black male believed to be between 25 and 30 years old, standing about 6’03” and weighing about 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded jacket with black and red clothing underneath, gray pants and black sneakers. The perpetrator was also described as possessing a semi-automatic handgun.

The second perpetrator is described as a black male believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, possibly going by the nickname “Dee,” standing about 5’9”-10” and weighing about 180 pounds. He was further described as wearing a black hooded jacket, dark color pants and black sneakers.
