Suspect Sought in Fifth District Stabbing Incident

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Stanley Williams (DOB: 10-25-1981) in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred on December 3, 2018 at the intersection of Franklin and St. Claude avenues.

Through investigation, NOPD Fifth District detectives learned that the victim was stabbed by a known male subject near the intersection at about 11:00 a.m., following a reported verbal altercation.

As the investigation progressed, detectives developed and positively identified Williams as the perpetrator in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on a charge of aggravated battery by cutting.
