Person of Interest Sought for Questioning in Investigation of Homicide on General Meyer Avenue

The NOPD is looking to interview a person of interest in the ongoing investigation of a homicide that occurred on December 25, 2018 in the 6400 block of General Meyer Avenue, near its intersection with Casimere Street.

NOPD Fourth District officers were notified at about 5:19 p.m. of an aggravated battery by shooting at the location. Units arrived on scene and discovered two victims – one adult male and one adult female – suffering from gunshot wounds. The male victim was found to be suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the female victim was transported to an area hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Through investigation, detectives determined the pictured subject to be a person of interest in this investigation. This individual is not wanted in connection with this incident. However, detectives wish to question this individual.
