NOPD VOWS Unit Arrests Subject Wanted in Fourth District Armed Robbery

The NOPD arrested a subject wanted in connection with a Fourth District armed robbery.

 

On November 30, 2018, Joshua Simmons (B/M DOB: 05/02/2001), was arrested by the NOPD VOWS unit with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service in the 1700 block of Odeon Avenue after a search warrant was executed at that location and evidence from the crime scene was recovered.

 

Simmons is accused of committing the armed robbery on November 26, 2018 in the 500 block of Park Boulevard.

 

Simmons was positively identified as the perpetrator and an arrest warrant was obtained for him for armed robbery with a firearm.
