NOPD Seeking Suspect in Auto Theft on General DeGaulle Drive

The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate a subject believed to be responsible for an auto theft in the 2600 block of General DeGaulle Drive on December 20, 2018.

The victim told police that at about 10:40 p.m., he parked his black 2006 Cadillac STS four-door vehicle by a gas pump at a gas station in the area, leaving the vehicle unlocked as he went inside of the gas station. At that time, he observed the pictured young unidentified black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt entering his vehicle and driving away with the vehicle toward Amazon Street. The victim told police that no key was left inside of the vehicle, but that the vehicle has a push-to-start ignition.

Anyone with information on this incident or the pictured subject is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040 or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
