NOPD Identifies Suspects in Theft by Fraud on Woodland Drive

The NOPD has obtained arrest warrants for Breana Lewis (pictured at left, DOB: 08-19-1989) and Trameka Beasley (pictured at right, DOB: 09-17-1980) in connection with a theft by fraud incident that occurred on December 8, 2018 in the 4300 block of Woodland Drive.

Two subjects later identified as Lewis and Beasley were seen on surveillance video switching UPC labels on items while inside of a Family Dollar store, in order to scan the items at a lesser price. Both subjects, who are reported to be former Family Dollar employees, then purchased the mislabeled items, while the other cashiered the fraudulent transaction.

Once located, both Lewis and Beasley will be arrested for theft by fraud.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Breana Lewis and Trameka Beasley is asked to contact NOPD Fourth District detectives at 504-658-6040, or to call anonymously to Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
