The NOPD is searching for a suspect seen on surveillance video getting out of a silver pickup truck and taking off in a Ford box truck bearing New Mexico license plate #KPM083.
The incident happened on December 12, 2017. At about 6:30 a.m., the victim parked, locked and secured his vehicle in the Motel 6 Parking lot located in the 4200 block of Old Gentilly Road. Upon returning to his vehicle, he observed it missing in the area.
Surveillance video shows a silver pickup truck parking next to the box truck and both vehicles leaving the location.
