Suspects Wanted in Vehicle Theft, Hit and Run on Magazine Street

The NOPD is seeking to locate and identify two unknown black females believed to be responsible for a vehicle theft and a hit-and-run crash that occurred on December 15, 2017 in the 2700 block of Magazine Street.

At about 7:21 a.m. the two pictured female subjects – believed to be in their late teens or early 20s – entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle, which was equipped with keyless start.  The subjects started the vehicle and fled south bound on Washington Avenue for approximately one block before striking several parked vehicles in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue.  The subjects then left the victim’s vehicle and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Anyone with any information on this incident or the whereabouts of the two pictured individuals are asked to contact Sixth District detectives at 504-658-6060. Citizens with information that can help solve crimes are asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111 or toll-free at 1-877-903-STOP.
