Suspect Wanted for Theft on Ponce De Leon Street

Suspect Wanted for Theft on Ponce De Leon Street

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying a suspect who is believed to be responsible for multiple armed robberies and a theft.

The theft incident happened on December 15, 2017.  The below pictured subject took a victim’s purse while in the 2900 block of Ponce De Leon Street. He then attempted to flee the scene but was confronted by an armed citizen. The suspect then abandoned the purse and fled northbound on Ponce De Leon Street.

The suspect below matches the description of the perpetrator, and he is also believed to be responsible for several armed robberies in the Esplanade Corridor area.
