The NOPD is searching for Jari Williams (DOB: 02-26-1991), who is wanted for her involvement in an access device fraud incident.
The incident happened on Thursday, December 14, 2017, in the 3700 block of Elysian Fields Avenue. The individual was observed entering Whitney Bank and attempted to cash the victim’s check.
The reporting person told police they received a call from Whitney Bank requesting verification of a check issued for processing. The victim did not authorize any checks to the person attempting to cash the check.
When located, Williams will be charged accordingly.
