Suspect Identified in Simple Burglary, Unauthorized Entry, Simple Criminal Damage Incidents on Chef Menteur Highway

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Herbert Holmes (DOB: 09-14-1994) in connection with two criminal incidents that occurred in the 14700 block of Chef Menteur Highway on December 7, 2017.

On the date of the incidents, an individual determined by detectives to be Holmes was seen by a witness entering the victim’s apartment, removing a set of keys and fleeing the scene in a newer model sedan, unknown make.

Holmes is wanted for simple burglary in this incident.

In addition, Holmes has an additional warrant for his arrest on file for a previous incident at this location. He is wanted for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage in this incident.
