NOPD Seeking SUVs Reported Stolen in Eighth District Incidents

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating two vehicles that were reported stolen in respective incidents in the Eighth District.

The victim in a vehicle theft reported on Saturday, December 17, 2017 told police that on Dec. 16 at about 10:00 p.m., he had locked and secured his gray 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV bearing Louisiana license plate TVU415 in the 600 block of South Peters Street. Upon returning to the location at about noon on December 17, the victim observed the vehicle to be missing. 

In a second incident, the victim told police that at about noon on December 25, 2017, he locked and secured his blue 2005 Toyota Highlander SUV bearing Louisiana license plate 5HW168 at the intersection of Girod Street and Loyola Avenue. Upon returning to the location at about midnight on December 26, 2017, the victim observed the vehicle to be missing.

Photos are included of vehicles similar in color, year, make and model to the vehicles reported stolen in these respective incidents.
