NOPD Arrests Suspect Found in Possession of Firearm, Narcotics

The NOPD arrested Gregory Godchaux (DOB: 10-30-1971) on December 24, 2017 after he was found to be in possession of a firearm and narcotics.

At about 1:31 p.m., Seventh District officers conducted a stop for an observed traffic violation at the intersection of Hayne Boulevard and Means Street. During the stop, officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle – identified as Godchaux – was in possession of 23 hydrocodone pills and a handgun.

Godchaux was placed under arrest and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for possession of hydrocodone and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
