The NOPD is searching for Tanita Akmin (DOB: 08/24/73) after she reportedly pulled out a gun and threatened a victim and his stepson.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on December 7, 2016. The victim told police Akmin was outside of his home in the 7600 block of Symmes Avenue when she tried to force his stepson to the ground. When the victim tried to intervene, Akmin said she threatened him and pulled out a gun and pointed it at him.
Once located, Akmin will be arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm.
