Three Suspects Sought for Carjacking on Aberdeen

The NOPD is looking for three unknown males in connection to an armed carjacking that took place on December 17, 2016.

 

The victim reported that she was seated inside of her vehicle in the 8100 block of Aberdeen around 3:15 p.m. while she completed a phone call. She was approached by an unknown black male wearing a dark colored hoodie and a rag covering the lower portion of his face. The suspect was accompanied by two other unknown individuals. The unknown male produced a firearm from his waistband and demanded the vehicle from the victim. She complied and the suspects fled the scene in her vehicle.

 

The vehicle is described as a green 1997 Infiniti with Louisiana license plate number TUB359. There is a navy colored parking decal on the windshield and the driver’s side headlight is out. A photo of a similar make and model car is included below.

Carjacking

Louisiana law states that Individuals convicted of carjacking shall be imprisoned at hard labor for not less than two years and for not more than 20 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
