Three Suspects Sought for Armed Robbery of Pizza Deliveryman on Nelson Street

Three Suspects Sought for Armed Robbery of Pizza Deliveryman on Nelson Street

The NOPD is looking for three suspects in connection to an armed robbery on Nelson Street.

A little before midnight last night (Dec. 21), the victim was delivering pizzas to a resident in the 9100 block of Nelson Street when he was approached by three unknown black males carrying handguns.  The suspects robbed the victim of more than $800 in cash and seven pizzas before fleeing the scene.

Suspect #1 is described as being 5’7” tall, having a light complexion, and wearing a black hoodie and black pants. He had a gray or white sweater covering his face and he was carrying a shotgun. 

Suspect #2 is described as being 6' tall and wearing all black clothing. He carried two handguns, one in each hand. 

Suspect #3 is described as a black male, 5'9” tall and wearing blue jeans and a black biker jacket. He was carrying an AK-47 with a wood grain handle.

Armed Robbery

In Louisiana, an armed robbery conviction requires the offender to be imprisoned at hard labor for 10 – 99 years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. When a firearm is used in the commission of the crime, the offender will be imprisoned for an additional 5 years that will be served consecutively to the original sentence.
