The NOPD is looking for Willie Bertholotte (DOB: 1/28/1985) for his involvement in an aggravated assault incident that occurred on Peltier Street.
The victim reported that on December 6, 2016, at about 8:25 a.m., Bertholotte arrived at her residence in the 14000 block of Peltier to retrieve his belongings. Once he was inside the home, Bertholotte placed the victim in a choke-hold. During the course of the physical altercation the victim managed to free herself from the choke-hold, at which time Bertholotte threw a hammer at her but missed.
He is wanted for battery and aggravated assault.
