UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Attempted Burglary Captured on Video

The NOPD needs the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted for attempted burglary.

 

On November 29, 2106, at approximately 5:15 p.m., an unknown black male was observed attempting to open the back door of a residence in the 2900 block of Baronne Street. He is described as a black male with a thin build, medium complexion, short dark hair and was wearing a “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” t-shirt. The suspect is estimated to be approximately 19 years old.

 

NOPD is also investigating the suspect's possible involvement in other burglaries in the area. A link to the surveillance video is available hereA photo pulled from surveillance video is included below.
