New Orleans - New Orleans Police arrested three suspects on August 28, 2025 in connection with three murders.

Arrest # 1 Wednesday August 28, 2025

Occurred on August 24, 2025 in the 600 block of Iberville Street.

Arrest location was in the 900 block of Jourdan Avenue.

Arrested was Timothy Hall, Black male, DOB 05/04/1999.

Arrested by NOPD VOWS and the US Marshal's Service. 

Timothy Hall was charged with violating LA R.S. 14:30.1, relative to Second Degree Murder, and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center. 

Arrest # 2 Wednesday August 28, 2025 (Double Homicide)

Occurred on August 12, 2025 in the 2100 block of Allen Street.

Arrest location was in the 400 Block of Phlox Ave, Metairie, LA.

Arrested was Ra'Quine Butler,  Black male, DOB 09/25/2007.

Arrested by NOPD VOWS, the US Marshal's Service, and JPSO.

Ra'Quine Butler was booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center and is awaiting extradition to New Orleans.

He will be charged with two (2) counts of violating LA R.S. 14:30.1 relative to Second Degree Murder.

Arrest # 3 Wednesday August 28, 2025

Occurred on August 9, 2025 in the 7800 block of Almonaster Avenue.

Arrest location was at 715 South Broad Avenue.

Arrested was Helmer Valeriano-Ordonez,  Hispanic male, DOB 10/23/2001.

Arrested by NOPD Homicide.

Helmer Valeriano-Ordonez was charged with violating LA R.S. 14:30.1, relative to Second Degree Murder, and booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
