New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for filing a false police report, felony insurance fraud, and felony filing a false auto theft affidavit.
Wanted is Floyd Williams (pictured), Black male, DOB 12/16/1993.
According to investigators, on April 15, 2024 Floyd Williams reported his blue 2019 Dodge Ram pickup truck as having been stolen from where he had parked it near the intersection of Church and Julia Streets. Through investigation, it has been confirmed Floyd Williams fabricated the theft report for insurance fraud purposes.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Floyd Williams is asked to call NOPD Auto Theft at 504-658-5646 or to anonymously call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
