The NOPD is investigating a reported theft by fraud incident that occurred on August 12, 2023, in the 1600 block of Shirley Drive.
At approximately 2:00 p.m. on August 12, the victim received a notification via cell phone inquiring if he authorized a transaction on his debit card. The victim then received a list of transactions from his bank with multiple transactions that he did not authorize. Through investigation, pictured unknown black male subject was observed on a surveillance camera at the locations where the unauthorized purchases were made, using the victim’s debit card.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
