The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a subject wanted in connection with an auto theft in the Eighth District.
On August 9, 2023 at about 12:11 a.m., the victim's white pickup truck, (pictured) was stolen from the 500 block of Convention Center Blvd.
Through investigation, Eighth District detectives identified the pictured subject as the perpetrator in this incident.
The subject is an unknown black male and was wearing a red cape prior to stealing the pickup, which is described as a 2002 Dodge Ram with Louisiana license plate #Y188349
