NOPD Seeking Fourth District Theft by Fraud Suspect

The NOPD is investigating a theft by fraud incident that occurred on August 4, 2023, in the 500 block of O’Bannon Street.

On August 5, the victim proceeded to make a transaction and was notified by his bank that his debit card had been canceled. The victim was notified a new card was mailed to his previous address and authorized. On August 4, 2023, at approximately 8:43 p.m., several transactions were made at an ATM in the 500 block of O’Bannon Street. The pictured unknown black male was observed on a surveillance camera at the location making unauthorized transactions using the victim’s card.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
