The NOPD is asking for the public's assistance in locating a subject wanted in connection with a simple burglary investigation.

From August 18 through September 4, the NOPD will be participating in the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over high-visibility enforcement period. In support of the law enforcement community’s dedication to protecting the lives of residents in their communities, you’ll see officers working together during this time to take drunk drivers off the roads. No matter how you plan to celebrate the end of summer this year, make sure you plan to do it safely.
The NOPD’s Traffic Division will conduct an upcoming sobriety checkpoint in Orleans Parish on Sunday, August 20, 2023. The checkpoint will operate between the hours of 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, and 5:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21.
