The NOPD is seeking to identify and locate a suspect wanted in the investigation of an aggravated assault with a firearm that occurred on August 16, 2023, in the 2400 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.
At approximately 6:00 p.m. on August 16, the pictured unknown black male subject entered a business and reportedly made verbal threats to kill customers and employees. The subject allegedly produced a pistol from his waistband while making the threats and then fled the scene on a blue bicycle.
All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
