NEW ORLEANS - The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle used in an attempted unarmed carjacking that occurred on August 21, 2021.
At around 3:00 p.m., three unknown subjects in the pictured black SUV pulled up to the victim’s vehicle and attempted to take it while the victim was inside. The victim was able to get away after a struggle, however the subjects did steal a purse before fleeing back to the pictured SUV. The victim followed the subjects until the victim crashed his vehicle.
