NOPD Investigates Homicide on Clouet Street

NOPD Investigates Homicide on Clouet Street

NOPD is investigating a homicide that took place in the 2100 block of Clouet Street.   

This evening, August 17, 2021 at around 11:22 p.m., Fifth district officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Clouet Street to a call of an aggravated battery by shooting. Upon arrival, they found an unresponsive unidentified adult male inside of a vehicle. The victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound(s) and was later pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.   

The investigation is on-going and detectives are attempting to determine a motive and a suspect(s) in the incident.   

The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will release the victim's name and the official cause of death.
