NOPD Investigates Double Homicide in Fourth District

NOPD Investigates Double Homicide in Fourth District

The NOPD is investigating a double homicide by shooting that occurred on Monday, August 16, 2021, in the 5300 block of Tullis Drive.
 

Fourth District officers responded to reports of an aggravated battery by shooting around 11:16 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males inside of a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victims were pronounced deceased on scene.
 

Investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive. 
 

The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will determine the official cause of death and release the victims’ names upon completion of an autopsy and the notification of family.
