The NOPD is requesting assistance from the public in locating a vehicle reported as stolen in an armed robbery incident that occurred in the 8600 block of Oleander Street on August 15, 2018.
The victim told police that at about 1:20 a.m., she parked and secured her black Mercedes Benz 550 S sedan bearing Louisiana license plate 512BYF in her driveway when, as she walked toward her residence, she observed an unknown black male approach with his hand inside of his shirt demanding the victim’s car keys. The victim complied and the subject fled the location in the victim’s vehicle on Leonidas Street toward Earhart Boulevard.
