Vehicle of Interest Sought in Fourth District Theft Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating the driver of the pictured vehicle after his alleged involvement in a theft incident that occurred near the intersection of Berkley Drive and Mansfield Avenue.

The incident occurred at or around 12 p.m. on August 13, 2018. The victim told police that an unknown black male subject, driving a black 2005 Dodge Ram, bearing Louisiana license plate #C563763, was observed removing several hand tools from a service truck that was parked at the aforementioned location. The subject then fled the scene, heading westbound on Berkley Drive.

The subject is described as being in his late 30s or 40s, approximately 6’0 tall, dark complexion with short hair.
