The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating the pictured subject who is wanted in connection with a theft incident that occurred on August 16, 2018.

The victim told police that she noticed an iPad was missing from inside of the business, located in the 1300 block of Canal Street.

During the course of the investigation, officers reviewed surveillance footage from the area and observed a white male subject attired in a red t-shirt, blue jeans, dark-colored cap and sunglasses, enter the business at or around 9 a.m. on the aforementioned date. The subject sat down and ate a meal that he ordered from the restaurant. He was then observed removing an iPad from a stand as he was exiting the business.

The subject fled the scene in possession of the victim's property. He also allegedly failed to pay for his meal.

The subject is described as approximately 6’1 tall, with a tattoo on his right bicep and a beard.
