Suspect Arrested for Illegal Carrying of Weapon, Flight from Officer in Seventh District

Officers in the Seventh District arrested Brandon Hadley (DOB: 01/22/86) on July 31, 2018, for illegal carrying of a weapon by a felon and flight from an officer. 

The below-pictured subject was apprehended in the 7300 block of Lake Barrington after he was first observed near the intersection of Morrison and Wright Roads. When officers arrived, Hadley began to flee on foot from a vehicle and was then observed tossing an unknown object that is believed to be narcotics.

Seventh District officers then gave chase, and Hadley was observed by a concerned citizen throwing a firearm onto the rooftop of a business. The firearm was later recovered by officers. 

Hadley was arrested for illegal carrying of a firearm, illegal possession of a firearm by a felon and flight from an officer.
