The NOPD is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Carlos Jones (DOB: 11-16-1992), a wanted subject in connection with a domestic abuse aggravated assault incident that occurred on August 21, 2018 in the 6800 block of West Coronet Court.
Through investigation, officers learned that at about 2:00 p.m., she and Jones were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation outside of a residence while exiting her vehicle. Officers also learned that during the course of the altercation, Jones allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat. At that time, the victim then reportedly fled into the residence and Jones allegedly retrieved a handgun from the vehicle. Once the victim entered the residence, she allegedly heard one gunshot fired. She returned to the vehicle to reportedly find Jones and her keys missing.
When located, Jones will be arrested for domestic abuse aggravated assault and theft.
