NOPD Searching for Suspect in Armed Robbery on South Claiborne Avenue

The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery with a gun incident that occurred on August 14, 2018 in the 2800 block of South Claiborne Avenue.

The pictured subject is alleged to have entered the Dollar General store, where he then reportedly approached the counter and demanded cash from the safe while brandishing a firearm. The employee complied and the subject fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male with a thin build, wearing a black shirt and black pants with a black hat with white writing on the front and yellow sunglasses. The subject was further described as having gold teeth on the bottom row of his mouth.
