NOPD Identifies Suspect Wanted in Trespassing Incident on First Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Eric D. Sumling (DOB: 06-22-1990) in connection with a trespassing incident that occurred on July 31, 2018 in the 2900 block of First Street.

The victim told police that she had received a call from a neighbor stating that a black male was in the vicinity of her property in the block. The victim arrived at the location to observe the known black male, later positively identified as Sumling, on the property without permission. The victim said that she confronted the subject, who left the area after the victim said she would call police to report his alleged trespassing.

When located, Sumling will be arrested for trespassing.
