The NOPD has arrested Brandon Hadley (pictured at left, DOB: 01-22-1986) and Barry Batiste (pictured at right, DOB: 11-17-1961) as part of an ongoing investigation.
On August 7, 2018, NOPD Seventh District Task Force officers executed search warrants at two locations in the 7800 block of Symmes Avenue as part of the investigation.
During execution of the search warrant, officers recovered several firearms, narcotics and drug paraphernalia from the locations.
Hadley was booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center for possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and illegal carrying of a firearm).
Batiste was booked for two counts of illegal carrying of a weapon while in possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
