The NOPD has arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male and a 16-year-old juvenile male in connection with a vehicle burglary incident which occurred on August 5, 2018 in the 8200 block of Aberdeen Road.
During the incident, the juveniles were observed by concerned citizens to be walking in the area, pulling on door handles and entering vehicles. The juveniles were confronted by a resident concerning their actions within the neighborhood and the police were called. Some of the residents were able to detain the juveniles until the police arrived to make the apprehensions.
The juveniles were arrested and booked into the Juvenile Justice Center. The 14-year-old juvenile was booked for simple burglary, criminal mischief and four counts of simple assault. The 16-year-old juvenile was booked for simple burglary.
