Suspected Identified in Attempted Homicide on North Galvez Street

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Nicholas Collor (DOB: 11/26/1993) in connection with an attempted homicide of two individuals that occurred on August 20, 2017 in the 600 block of North Galvez Street.

At approximately 9:57 p.m., First District officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 600 block of North Galvez Street. Upon arrival, they found both victims inside an apartment suffering from respective gunshot wounds to the head. EMS rendered medical care and transported the victims to the hospital, where they were listed in critical condition.

Upon further investigation, it was identified that the shooting incident was domestic related.

As investigation into the incident progressed, detectives were able to develop Collor as the perpetrator.

Collor is described as a black male standing about 5’10” with a slim build, black hair and a moustache.
