Suspect Identified in Simple Robbery, Domestic Abuse Battery on Yorktown Drive

The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Danvayon Pickett (DOB: 10-29-1997) in connection with a simple robbery and domestic abuse battery that occurred on August 30, 2017 in the 7100 block of Yorktown Drive.

Pickett has been positively identified as the perpetrator who, on the date of the incident, reportedly engaged in an altercation with the victim. During this altercation, Pickett allegedly grabbed the victim by the neck, shoved her against a wall and forcefully removed her cellphone from her hand before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
