The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Byron Roberts (DOB: 07-06-1988) in connection with a road rage incident that occurred on Interstate 10 East on the high-rise bridge on July 20, 2017.
On the date in question, a 2003 Silver Infiniti four-door sedan bearing Louisiana license plate 597AKN and in the possession of Roberts was implicated in a road rage incident where an unknown subject allegedly pointed a firearm at another motorist.
Investigation into the incident led detectives to develop Roberts as the perpetrator in this incident. In addition, investigators discovered evidence showing that Roberts, a convicted felon, had possessed a firearm within 10 years of his felony conviction.
When located, Roberts will be arrested for aggravated assault with a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.
