Suspect Arrested for Multiple Burglaries and Thefts

The NOPD has arrested a suspect wanted in connection with multiple thefts across the city.

 

On August 17, 2017, NOPD apprehended Lamar Odom (DOB: 1/9/1971) and charged him with six burglaries that primarily involved copper. Odom confessed to being involved in the burglaries, which took place at these locations: 

  • 1500 block of Basin Street (August 8, 2017)
  • 2100 block of Orleans Avenue (August 11, 2017)
  • 3900 block of Canal Street (August 12, 2017)
  • 1500 block of St. Louis Street (August 14, 2017)
  • 1500 block of St. Bernard Avenue (August 16, 2017)
  • 1400 Esplanade Avenue (August 16, 2017)

He was arrested in the 1600 block of North Villere Street by the First District’s General Assignment Unit.
